(modern meets mid-century via Just the Design)
I’m having a reoccurring conversation with myself; do I prefer simple living or minimalism? I collect the 1970s and I’ve written about how my joy of collecting ruins any pretense of me adopting a true minimalist lifestyle.
But, I really hate clutter and despite my best efforts, I end up having to deal with clutter. At the same time, I have conflicting love/hate opinions of modernist spaces. Most of these modern spaces are high-strung, over-designed, and don’t allow for comfort and respite against the outside world (which most people, including myself, highly value). I’ve been arguing with myself all morning about it. There must be a solution but I seem to be blind to it. The search, and the debate continues…
